
Slim's teenage years also marked the beginning of his criminal record, although not organized, Slim's instinctual and spontaneous personality, led to many run ins with the police. During this time him, Marshall and Proof soon began to start freestyle battling each other with the ambitions to one day become famous rappers. The two meeting when Slim was seen performing LL Cool J’s “I’m Bad” standing on a table shirtless. In his teenage years, Slim had few friends other than Marshall, Proof and Marshall's future wife Kim Scott. Becoming friends since they were kids, the two bonded due to being in similar situations.
